Secondary English - Level Change Program Information

This program is being taught out and no new students are being accepted.

 

Accreditation

This program provides teachers with the knowledge and skills needed to add the Secondary English endorsement to their existing Michigan elementary teaching certificate, allowing them to teach English in grades 6 through 12. Students complete the Secondary English major and a portion of the professional education core that is specific to working with secondary students. Upon completing the program and passing the required state tests, students will be eligible to apply for the endorsement.

Program Requirements: Bachelor Degree
