Master of Business Administration

The Accounting major is a program of advanced accounting classes for managers who have undergraduate degrees in accounting and want to take additional classes in subjects that are critical in their work situations. The Accounting major is designed to provide a balanced, broad education and an in-depth understanding of the theoretical and practical concepts of accounting. More admission requirements apply to this major in addition to the MBA admission requirements.

Master of Business Administration Program Outcomes

By the end of the program, students will:

Apply critical thinking skills to solve complex business problems and make decisions.
Solve problems in a collaborative work environment incorporating diverse perspectives.
Communicate using advanced oral and written communication skills necessary for success in the business environment.
Analyze the impacts of core concepts, theories and practices within business functions in an integrated manner and apply to business problem solving and decision making.
Collect, analyze and interpret complex data using quantitative and qualitative tools to support business decision making.
Analyze the strategic planning process, and develop and assess strategic plans.
Evaluate the legal, ethical, social, economic, cultural, and global environments of business;
Integrate research in complex business problem solving.
Evaluate and apply leadership strategies in complex business environments.
